First, we sincerely apologize for the update delay and for providing this follow-up later than expected.
Below are the details regarding the update postponement and our revised direction for Unique Gear balance adjustments.

1. Regarding the Season New Age Update Delay
On Jan. 7 (Wed) at 22:00 (UTC+9), approximately one hour after the maintenance for the Season New Age update began, a critical error was discovered during the data migration process to the live environment.
It was determined that proceeding with the update posed a significant risk to data integrity, as conflicts arose between the newly restructured system and existing player data.
To ensure a stable application of the update, we confirmed that a full-scale data investigation as well as build modifications were required.
Consequently, to secure the necessary time for these technical adjustments and the store platform review process, we ended up needing to postpone the update by one week.
We once again apologize to our Rune Hunters for the confusion and inconvenience caused by this delay and our lack of preparation.

2. Regarding Unique Gear Balance Adjustments
Following the release of the Update Notes, we received a great deal of concern regarding the adjustment of stats for existing Unique Gear.
The development team takes your concerns seriously, especially regarding the potential loss of value of gear that Rune Hunters have worked so hard to obtain.
We would like to provide the reasoning behind our initial plan to include mandatory stat adjustments for existing Unique Gear.
Many of the Unique Gear targeted for this balance overhaul were directly linked to specific skill mechanics within the underlying systems.
We identified that if we only updated the skills and systems while leaving the existing Unique Gear as they were, there was a high probability that certain Unique Gear effects would fail to function or cause errors in skill behavior.
Due to these structural constraints, our initial approach was to modify the existing Unique Gear alongside the system changes.
However, after reviewing the concerns shared by many Rune Hunters, the development team re-examined various alternatives to preserve the existing value of your Unique Gear.
As a result, we have confirmed the possibility of preserving existing Unique Gear stats without changes by building a separate exception handling logic and allocating additional server resources.
Since the update was postponed, we have been re-evaluating this approach and testing it repeatedly, separate from our work on the technical fixes.
We confirmed the decision to proceed with this approach today, allowing us to share this follow-up update.
We also apologize to Rune Hunters for the delay in providing this notice during this process.
※ Please Note: If you use a 'Unique Change Essence' or 'Option Stat Change Essence' on an existing Unique Gear, its stats will be reapplied based on the new, adjusted values. Please keep this in mind.
However, even with the improved system, there are some Unique Gear for which changes to the stats of currently owned equipment are inevitably required.
For Unique Gear subject to change, certain options will be readjusted to the increased values applied in the update.
