We sincerely thank all Rune Hunters for joining UNDECEMBER throughout this year.

As we approach the New Year and the 4th anniversary, the development team has been thinking hard about how to make the game more fun and longer-lasting,

while preparing major changes that both refine existing content and build new layers of enjoyment.

Our new season, titled 'New Age', will be showcasing these changes.

The core of the 'New Age' season is a large-scale overhaul of skills aimed at taking UNDECEMBER's combat experience to the next level.

With revamped skills and builds, familiar content will feel completely fresh, offering new combat sensations and playstyles.

We hope you look forward to the upcoming detailed guides to best experience the new thrills and strategies UNDECEMBER has in store.

1. Large-Scale Skill & Link Rune Overhaul

While we have consistently introduced new skills each season, many players gravitated toward a few preferred skills,

leaving others forgotten.

We attempted multiple rounds of rebalancing to highlight the appeal of these overlooked skills,

but realized that simple numerical adjustments have limitations.

With the 4th anniversary update, we have committed to a comprehensive skill overhaul.

This revamp goes beyond number tweaks, with adjustments to the fundamental mechanics and options of each skill.

Over 100 skills and Link Runes will be updated this season. Due to the sheer volume, it is difficult to introduce all of them at once.

Detailed guidance will be provided in future Patch Notes.

2. Dark Energy Overhaul

Starting with the 'New Age' season, the Dark Energy system will see major improvements.

Now, you can enter Chaos Dungeons at your chosen stage and difficulty without using Dark Energy,

allowing unrestricted entry.

Additionally, if you spend 'Special Materials' when entering,

the drop rate of Essence will be doubled compared to before.

While the system is improved, the base drop rate itself will not be lowered.

To prevent excessive reward generation via bots or unauthorized programs,

half of the Essence drops will be converted to [Exclusive] Essence.

Finally, until the New Age season, existing Dark Energy can still be used as [Special Materials].

Afterward, it will be replaced with new types of materials.

We encourage you to use any Dark Energy you have accumulated before this transition.

3. Abyss Gate Stage Clear Rewards

From now on, first-time clear rewards will be granted for each stage of the Abyss Gate.

Since Abyss Gate progress resets at the start of each season,

these rewards will motivate players to challenge themselves anew each season.

Rich rewards appropriate for the difficulty of each stage are prepared, so we encourage everyone to take on the challenge.

In addition, the number of Gear Slot Upgrades granted for clearing Abyss Gate stages will be increased from the current amount.

4. Chaos Dungeon Boss Difficulty Adjustment

As field monsters gradually become stronger, boss monsters have started to feel relatively weaker.

From the next season, boss power will be adjusted to reflect their stature, providing a balanced challenge.

We look forward to players exploring new builds to tackle these strengthened bosses

using revamped Skill Runes and Link Runes.

5. Abyss Stone Slot Unlock Conditions Eased

Abyss Stones introduced this season play a key role in expanding build diversity.

However, the relatively high unlock conditions for Abyss Stone Slots prevented some players from attempting these challenges.

To address this, we will ease Abyss Stone Slot unlock conditions,

allowing more Rune Hunters to actively utilize the Abyss Stone system.

6. UNDECEMBER 4th Anniversary Event

To thank all Rune Hunters for celebrating this meaningful 4th anniversary,

after the season update, we will run an event through the 4th Anniversary Exchange Shop, offering a variety of rewards.

Players can collect Event Coins and exchange them for Unique Gear, Special Attendance Tickets, New Costumes, and other rewards.

We hope you are looking forward to this event. In addition, to support Rune Hunters who are accompanying us through the closing stages of the current season,

the Pre-celebration Event is already underway, allowing you to earn Event Coins in advance.

We encourage you to collect and exchange them for rewards after the update.
